Professional Bio
Dr. Lemia is an Associate Professor and certified Functional Medicine practitioner (IFM), as well as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (USA). With training that spans Kuwait, the UK, and the USA, her work focuses on translating research into practical, realistic nutrition care—meeting people where they are and guiding them toward sustainable results.
Beyond her academic leadership, Dr. Lemia has consulted for schools, wellness clubs, and university programs, and has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications across adolescent health, metabolism, vitamin D status, and cardiometabolic risk.
